Why these products together
Tiredness and low iron: why take iron, vitamin C and magnesium together
The alarm rings and you’re already tired. By 3 pm, coffee isn’t enough. In the evening, you don’t feel like doing the things you enjoy. Many people think it’s just work or lack of sleep. Often, several things add up: meals that don’t provide enough iron, iron that isn’t well absorbed, and the stress of the day.
Iron helps carry oxygen around your body. But your body absorbs iron from food poorly: vitamin C, taken at the same meal, helps you absorb more. Magnesium helps reduce tiredness; you take it in the evening, away from the iron. Each has its job, and together they work on tiredness.
The roles of iron, vitamin C and magnesium described on this page are claims authorised under EU Regulation 432/2012. This trio also rests on published research. A mechanism described for more than thirty years shows that vitamin C increases the absorption of plant-based iron. A randomised trial published in the CMAJ found less fatigue with iron in participants with low iron stores. A review in Nutrients details how vitamins and minerals work together on energy; our guide to fatigue and iron sums it up.
Our team put all three in one bundle so you only have one order to place. Bought separately, the three boxes cost 125 + 95 + 95 = 315 DH; the bundle: 299 DH. What the bundle changes in your day
| What you live with | What the bundle brings |
|---|---|
| Mornings with no energy | Iron, vitamins B12 and C and magnesium contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. |
| The afternoon slump | Iron contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. |
| Effort that costs more than it used to | Iron contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body. |
| A more tense end of day | Magnesium contributes to normal nervous system function. |
Steps of the course
Day one
At lunch, vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron from the same meal, and you may feel a small lift in energy about 30 minutes later. In the evening, about 30 minutes after the magnesium, you often start to unwind. Iron works more slowly: your stores rebuild week by week.
Day 7
The routine is set: two moments, two meals. Note your energy today; it’s your starting point.
Day 21
Take stock of the afternoon slump and your evening energy. Write it down so you can compare.
Day 60
After two months, iron stores have had time to rebuild. Compare with your notes from day 7 and day 21.
Frequently asked questions
Should I get a blood test first?
It’s a good idea. Tiredness that lasts more than a few weeks deserves a check-up, and ferritin shows exactly where your iron stores stand.
Is the bundle for men and women alike?
Yes. Tiredness and low iron affect everyone, and the routine is the same for all.
What if I miss a dose?
Simply pick up again at the next planned meal, without doubling the dose.
Who should ask a doctor first?
Anyone on medication, with known iron overload, kidney impairment, or who is pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep iron out of reach of children.
